Monday 2nd October 2017

Busy weekend working through the Typeyeah website backlog and adding new features including a shop section with affiliate products from the Typeyeah Redbubble page. I will be adding physical products such as pins and stickers in the future. I have had a good response from the Instagram community on the new site and will continue to improve it and build it overtime.

Typeyeah - New Online Shop

Today is a public holiday but due to trying to catch up and get ahead of the dev guys I decided to come in to the office and get as much done as possible. After last weeks meeting with the agency, they had some feedback on the designs so I made a few changes and continued designing the main screens. There were only 3 other people in the office so it was great to just get in and smash it out.

Tuesday 3rd October 2017

Busy day continuing with the UI designs, trying to get as much done as possible for the meeting with the agency tomorrow afternoon.

Wasn’t feeling 100% today, I can feel a cold coming on.

Wednesday 4th October 2017

Woke up with a killer sore throat, went to the chemist and got some Betadine gargle stuff and some Difflam lozengers, see how that goes.

Pushed through the day and continued on the UI designs. The meeting with the agency got pushed to tomorrow.

Thursday 5th October 2017

Felt like shit today, cold has really got ahold of me now. Checked in with the doc this morning and she prescribed me some antibiotics. Went in to the office as we had the meeting with the agency and it was important I was there to get feedback from them and to push back on any areas that can be updated later.

It was a good meeting with a positive outcome and not really that many changes. I think I will be able to get them all done on Monday. One point really surprised me was when Phil opened an Adobe Spark document with a mockup of designs that the agency had previously provided which I hadn’t seen before. They kept referring back to this doc with things to update. It would have made things a whole lot quicker If I had seen that prior to starting the update of the UI. Anyways, moving forward we’re very close to getting sign off and getting the dev guys started.

About 3 weeks ago I ordered 2 shirts I designed from Redbubble, after waiting over 2 weeks, I sent an enquiry to Auspost to see whats happening with it, they got back to me saying they will look into it. It finally got delivered today, the interesting part is though that it was just the paperwork that got delivered, no shirts! Got straight on to Redbubble to get it sorted. To their credit, I just had to show the letter from Auspost saying that the parcel got damaged in transit and they were happy to send out a new order. Let’s hope this one gets to me in one piece and I actually get the tshirts.

Friday 6th October 2017

Went to bed early last night feeling like shit. No way I could go in to work today and function properly so I took the day off and just rested.

Did some research on creating an investment portfolio. I’ve been wanting to start one for a long time but due to circumstances over the last 6 years I haven’t been able to. Fortunately I am in a much better position now and I’m doing my homework to get started. I had a look at CommSec as this will make it convenient seeing as I’m with Commbank. Learned a few things while reading over a few of their articles.

I’m interested to hear from people on their experience investing in Australian stocks, hit me up and let’s chat.
