Sunday was spent celebrating Christmas with Karina’s dads side of the family. Good times, lots of laughs fuelled by lots of food.

Got stuck in to designing more of the admin UI today, the logs section specifically. This will allow the guys to go in and check to not only see how the system is performing but also troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Tuesday 19th December 2017

Continued working through the admin screens today. Adding the ability for admin users to view the logs and queues.

I’ve been mentioning that I am learning a lot more about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency lately. It is super interesting to me how it all works and how it is potentially going to evolve in to day to day life for us in the coming years. How many years, I don’t actually know (no one knows), it’s early days now so I’m excited to learn as much as I can and see how it all evolves over the next few years.

I came across a new exchange called Binance which I signed up to. Binance is so far the best cryptocurrency exchange I have used. A clean UI with great UX. The whole journey of registering, transferring to your wallets and then placing an order is super easy. It seems to be a rather popular choice as well with a large amount of trade volume going through it each day.

Binance also has an IOS mobile app, it has a direct download from it’s website that will notify you that it is not verified. To use the app you will need to verify the app by going into Settings > General > Device Management > Shenzhen Posun Industry Co., Ltd. and select Verify App.

Wednesday 20th December 2017

Really need to sort out my nutrition, I’ve been eating heaps of shit food lately for the trade off of convenience and I’m noticing the effects of it in my training and just feel bloated most of the time.

We’ve been thinking about getting HelloFresh or a similar food prep service, not only to eat healthier but also to save time and not waste as much food. Ingredients go to waste because we only cook for 2 and the rest stays in the fridge until it gets chucked out because we don’t use it quick enough. I’ll do some more research and see what options are available. If anyone has a good suggestion for meal plan options, please let me know down below in the comments.

2 days till we move out of our Hornsby apartment and move back to the coast! Crazy busy to say the least, trying to get everything packed up in time for the removal guys to come in Friday morning. The amount of time I’ve been on the phone organising everything in the past 2 weeks would be more than the total time for the whole year!

Thursday 21st December 2017

Last day for the year!! Half day really because we had our Christmas party. I took the opportunity to finalise everything for the year and catch up on some of my blog posts.

It has been a full on few months since starting at PropertySafe and I’m feeling like I’ve been on auto and haven’t stopped. I will say though, after tomorrows move, I am looking forward to getting some decent sleep!

Fun times at the Christmas party. An awesome lunch at Coast Bar & Restaurant with the whole team along with a couple of drinks. I had to leave early to head over to McGrath to sign the new lease.

Friday 22nd December 2017

Massive day moving back to the coast today. For the last 14 months we’ve been living in Hornsby. Seeing as Karina and I are both working back on the coast we decided to move back. We found a great little apartment in a brand new complex at Point Frederick.

It is now time to relax for a 2 week holiday! Super pumped to be back on the coast for 2018, it gives me a lot more time to work on this site as well as my other projects. See you on the flipside. Peace!
